Second ride on my new 2024 Beta 300 Race Edition: 22F, windy, and frozen! Dual spark plugs are "Twice the Fun" and liven up the low to mid engine response and torque feel. Even in the frozen conditions it is easy to feel how the updated 300 Race Edition engine builds RPM's slightly quicker.
The ’23 Beta 300 Race Edition is a well sorted and developed dirt bike..a simple 2-stroke engine with a perfectly jetted Keihin carb, V-FORCE reeds, and mechanical power valve mounted in a chassis that was built purely for off road riding (not adapted from a SX bike) with impressive KYB suspension built with a focus on real world customers .

I love my 300, even with all the scratches, torn graphics, and stain white plastic i go out the garage and still think it's the most beautiful bike I've ever seen. On the horn, mine quit working pretty quick too so I took it off, cleaned the contacts and with a slight adjustment on that little phillips screw it came back to life.
2024 Beta 300 RR Race Edition First Ride dual spark plugs Beta has historically recommended 60:1 for the non-OI 300 cc bikes. But plenty of others like me have mixed 40:1 and 50:1 with great results. The key is to jet appropriately for whatever mixture you're running. I.e. more oil in your gasoline results in leaner A/F mixture.
Needles shown on this graph are the stock Beta/Keihin needles, the Suzuki needles mentioned above are similar in many ways, slightly different in taper. NECJ for your summertime 4000ft baseline, and the NEDK for a leaner needle if needed but not likely. Wintertime jetting the NEDW or even an NECW.
